Every weekend, we write a posting that summarizes interesting things happening in the blogosphere. It’s called “Week in Review” section. Here is the list of what’s happening this week.

MarketClub Videos published a video earlier in the week that they pulled the trigger on the Dow, meaning they close positions on the Dow Jones. As we saw in the market last week, Dow Jones Industrial Average losses more than 700 points in a week, the worse loss since 2008.

Marketplace explained what’s currently happening in Europe’s sovereign debt problem. As always, senior editor Paddy Hirsch explained in an easy way; even people without financial knowledge should be able to understand it.

Million Dollar Journey compared advantages and disadvantages between owning a “real” rental property versus owning REIT (Real Estate Income Trust).

Canadian Dream: Free at 45 questioned us, what should we pay for a house? He introduced four percent rule, i.e. our proposed house value times by 4%, divide the result by 12.  That should be our monthly mortgage payment.

Canadian Capitalist had an excellent article about currency hedging. Is currency hedging really necessary?
